Stanley is a retired audit partner now auditing the financial claims of politicians and corporate leaders. He was a teacher before retraining as a Chartered Accountant. After the fall of the Berlin Wall he moved to Moscow to work for one of the big four accounting firms. His hopes of bringing Russian, European and American companies together to establish peaceful and profitable relations between Russia and the West didn’t work out. He did however marry the Russian wife with whom he now shares his retirement. They raised three intrepid daughters now working in England and Europe.
