Understandably many of our articles are on the war in Ukraine. See the yellow box below.
Other articles which attracted attention were Barbara Morrison on the Spring Budget and Bob Copeland’s book review of ‘Private Island’. In our Women in Focus section (green box below), Caroline Cornell shares her memories of Ladies Toilets.
In our area Maya Wilson-Autzen challenges Gloucestershire’s decision on diesel buses as ‘Greenwashing‘ and Kerry Ann Christelow writes on a ‘Doughnut Economics’ rally in Oxford.
The Ukraine war has also spawned some art (Alex Singleton’s Flyover Mural) and poetry (Richard Wain’s ‘Bear and the Dove‘).
