For without its flowers
There would be no bees.
And there would be no leaves
On the spring green trees.
And without the trees.
All cloaked in green,
There would be no birds
To be heard or seen.
And without water.
If the world goes dry,
There would be no ducks, nor dragonflies
With their paper wings and florescent eyes.
Nor butterflies,
Dancing on light.
To fill gardens and fields,
With earthly delights.
Without these things,
To love and pleasure,
What we would loose
Is beyond gold and treasure.
Without these things,
There would be no love, no life.
There is no planet B!
So let’s hug her tight.
