You’ve been watching what’s happening in the United States: the suppression; the silencing; the steady erosion of democracy. Maybe you’ve watched with horror, maybe with disbelief; maybe with fear for what comes next.
Now we’re here.
The US President just launched an unprovoked military strike against Iran. B-2 bombers flew from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri and dropped ordnance on Iranian nuclear facilities. There was no Congressional vote, no public debate, no imminent threat.
This wasn’t a last resort. It was a decision made in the dark.
And make no mistake – it was not made on behalf of the people.
We are not at war because we want to be. We are at war because power is being used to distract, to control, and to rewrite reality.
This is not defence. It is domination. And if you’ve ever looked at the US and wondered what you could do to help – this is your moment.
Your governments will be asked to support this. They will be pressured to stand in solidarity. They will be told it is about safety, about order, about justice.
But it isn’t.
This war was launched unilaterally: no Congressional declaration; no multilateral consensus; no legitimate justification. It is an act of aggression that endangers us all – and it must be condemned.
We’ve seen this before. Wars launched under false pretences, justified after the fact, and paid for with lives that can never be recovered. From Vietnam to Iraq, history has shown us what happens when silence enables power and when fear overrides truth.
Here at home, protest is being vilified. Dissent is labelled unpatriotic. And our ability to resist erodes with every executive strike labelled “peacekeeping”. The lines between military action and authoritarian control are blurring faster than most realize.
We’re asking you, the people of Canada, Australia, the UK, France, Germany, South Africa, India, Brazil, Japan, and every nation watching this unfold:
Speak up. Raise your voices. Demand your leaders break ranks. Refuse to give cover to a war we did not ask for.
To the leaders of the world: Condemn this strike. Refuse support. Call for an emergency UN session. Pressure the United States Congress to deny any war authorization.
Support the journalists who dare to report the truth. Protect the protestors. Give cover to the whistleblowers. Help us resist from within by resisting from without.
Do it now. Before Iran retaliates. Before the body count begins. Before the propaganda makes it impossible to speak the truth without being labelled a traitor.
You may not be able to stop what’s happened here already. You may not be able to fix our broken courts or protect our rights to bodily autonomy.
