Britain is currently in the middle of a cost-of-living crisis, being led by a government who believes that giving the rich tax cuts will help ease it, rather than exacerbate it.
This crisis is going to affect all of us in different ways. Those living in cities, for example, are more likely to be affected by the crisis due to the massive expense it costs to live in a city.
As Bristol is one of the core cities, with its own elected mayor, for now, it is thus able to hold some of its own destiny in weathering this cost-of-living storm.
In my new video, I talk to two members of the Bristol City Council, Green councillors Christine Townsend and Lorraine Francis, to discuss how this crisis will affect its citizens, what the city is doing to help, and what this winter could mean for the country as a whole.
