A healthy democracy requires an effective media that connects people and empowers us to hold our political representatives to account.
West England Bylines is part of a flourishing national network of 10 Bylines publications. West England Bylines covers Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Bristol, Gloucestershire and North Somerset. Our writers, many with specialist expertise, publish articles on local, national and international issues, ranging from Westminster and Ukraine to the crises of climate, environmental pollution and the cost of living.
We produce high quality, progressive, insightful journalism that puts citizens at the heart of the conversation and speaks truth to power on issues that affect us all.
The West England Bylines team is currently looking for a few hours of extra help per week with some of the technical aspects of running the publication. We particularly need assistance with image sourcing and captioning for articles; also using search engine optimisation to increase our article reach. If you have some familiarity with tasks like these, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in contact via editor@westenglandbylines.co.uk
We very much look forward to hearing from you.
